New Orleans native Grady Pinkerton brings a combination of swamp and R&B to the Exiles debut album.
Growing up in the musically rich state of Louisiana, Pinkerton had the opportunity to play regularly with legendary piano man Henry Gray, former band mate of Howlin' Wolf.
After seeing the Le Roi Brothers numerous times in Baton Rouge and New Orleans, Pinkerton moved to their home base in Austin, Tx. in 1990. He has played with various bands including Nervis Pervis and the Jitters, the Go Getters, Esquires, Larry Lange & His Lonely Nights and the Gulf Coast Playboys.
Still the guitar player of choice for harmonica man Lazy Lester, Pinkerton is regularly called upon to back the Excello recording artist when he comes to Austin.
In 2002, Mike Buck and Eve Monsees approached Pinkerton with the idea of forming a band together. This was the beginning of Eve and the Exiles.
