Music enthusiast and long time Warner Brothers executive Bill Bentley currently contributes to the Studio City Sun newspaper. Bentley named the Exiles in his best of 2004 re-cap.
The Daily Texan, the student produced newspaper of the University of Texas, ran a story on Eve and the Exiles in December of 2004. The article which was written by Craig Whitney can be found by clicking on the logo to the right.

Ruf Records, the German blues label, released a double CD compilation of female blues guitarists in early 2006. The song "Lonely, Lonely Nights" off of Eve and the Exiles' debut CD is featured here along with several other songs by blues women both young and old. Prior to his passing, Clifford Antone requested Eve Monsees and Gary Clark Jr. perform at one of the KGSR sponsored Blues on the Green events in July of 2006. The show which corresponded with the Antone's night club's 31st anniversary was held in Clifford's honor. Thousands turned out to Zilker Park for the show. Click the logo for pictures.
Homer Henderson and Donna Pearl join the Exiles in 2007.
Homer Henderson has played and recorded both under his own name and with a variety of other artists. A snap shot of his career can be viewed on both youtube and myspace. Donna has performed with the legendary Austin group the Naughty Ones. You can be her friend on myspace by clicking here.
Released in the summer of 2007 on Dialtone Records, the Texas Northside Kings features three tracks by Eve Monsees along with veteran blues greats Spot Barnett, Earl Gilliam and Willie Sampson. Other guests include Johnny Moeller, Mike Keller, Nick Curran and Seth Walker. Mike Buck plays drums on one track with Eve as well.
In addition to the Exiles, Eve Monsees will be performing the occasional gig with the Bluebonnets. This rockin' "All Girl" group features Kathy Valentine, Dominique Davalos and Kristy McInnis.
Eve and the Exiles released their 2nd album in the summer of 2008. Featuring the additions of Homer Henderson, Pat Collins and Donna Pearl this record jumps out of the speakers in all its Texas garage rock glory. The CD release party was held at the Continental Club in Austin July 2008 and recommended in Best Bets of the Austin American Statesman. In July of 2008, the Exiles traveled to Finland for the Rauma Blues Festival. After a successful show with Doyle Bramhall at the Kalahovi Club, Eve and the Exiles played to a few thousand people at Rooster Arena. A couple of photos can be viewed here.
